Watch as FamilyFun shows you how to make an easy snack recipe–back-to-school “”choc””-boards! This school-themed recipe for kids will help your little scholar get excited for the start of school. To make several boards, you’ll need a chocolate bar, a toothpick, a quarter cup of powdered sugar, soft caramel candies, and white sprinkles. To make a board, break the candy bar into 4 equal pieces along its grooves. Next, etch your message or drawing with the toothpick into the back of the candy bar, brushing away any extra chocolate shavings. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top of the etching, then gently rub it in. Use a lightly dampened paper towel to wipe away sugar that is not in the edging. Roll and flatten a soft caramel candy until it is a long, thin strip, cutting them to fit the edges of the board. Stick them on with a little water to form a frame and add a few sprinkles along the bottom of the board for chalk. Now you have another sweet snack to add to your kids’ dessert recipes this fall!
