Ingredients
Chocolate Chip Scones:
¾ cup heavy cream, cold
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 large egg
2 cups all-purpose flour
¼ cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
¼ cup + 2 tbsp unsalted butter, cold and cut into cubes
2/3 cup chocolate chips
1 tbsp heavy cream
Freshly whipped cream
jam
Chicken Chili:
2 tbsp olive oil
½ large onion, minced
1 stalk celery, minced
½ carrot, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
1lb ground chicken
2 cups canned red kidney beans, drained
26 oz can crushed tomatoes
3 tsp chili powder
1 tsp red pepper flakes
Sour cream
grated cheddar cheese
bread rolls
Potato Salad:
2 lb potatoes, peeled, sliced into ½-inch slices
salt
3 hard-boiled egg yolks
½ cucumber, seeds removed and finely diced
1/2 tsp salt
½ cup frozen corn, defrosted
a pinch of black pepper
1/2 cup mayonnaise
Rice Balls:
2 lb potatoes, peeled, sliced into ½-inch slices
salt
